Information
I don't see us being able to read anything from MaLa we could use. They use an unknown format as a db and to store all system related settings and mappings. The mala.ini is of no real help.
If someone can figure out the format used in its files, it's possible we could do more with it. Until then, a generic RocketLauncher plugin is all there will be.
Configuration for RocketLauncher
- Open the MaLa options by right clicking MaLa's GUI
- Click 'Other Emu Config' tab
- Click to add a New emulator
- Name the system one of the official names RocketLauncher uses (Use one of the names from this folder RocketLauncher\RocketLauncherUI\Media\Icons)
- Set Executable to your RocketLauncher.exe. Ex: C:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe
- Set Rom Path to the path of your roms for this system. Ex: C:\Roms\Nintendo Entertainment System
- Click Execution tab
- Set Command Line like this using Nintendo Entertainment System and your Mala folder as C:\MaLa as the example:
- -s "Nintendo Entertainment System" -r "%rom%" -p MaLa -f "C:\MaLa\MaLa.exe"
- Another system example:
- -s "Sega Genesis" -r "%rom%" -p MaLa -f "C:\MaLa\MaLa.exe"
- Close options window and right click and refresh your game list.
- When you select a game, it will now use RocketLauncher!
