If you run in a shelled environment, you need to make sure these settings are correct otherwise you will get slow response from xpadder every time you change profiles:
First open xpadder and click the wrench icon to open the setings window.
- Disable Show taskbar button when minimized
If you have any further issues with sluggishness, try changing these:
- Disable Start minimized (if started by user)
- Disable Minimize when closing main window
- Disable Show icon in notification area
